Fashion Business & Graphic Design Student
CATHERINE ELDRIDGE
Born and raised in New Jersey, deciding to get my college education in Kansas was a step out of my comfort zone that I wouldn’t trade for the world.
K-State’s Fashion Studies program continues to exceed my expectations with each semester. They have ensured we grasp a deep understanding of the importance of sustainability in the fashion industry, as the rise of fast fashion has brought never before seen harm to our environment and those working in garment manufacturing. I hope to work for a company that values the world we live in and those who live in it by taking action in their sustainability efforts.
Post graduation, in the summer of 2025, I will be interning with B&J Fabrics in New York. Here I will gain immense knowledge on fabric, draping, sourcing, and the fashion industry.
